PzC1 Mod: Totaler Krieg V1.0 inkl Update auf V1.1

Ich habe eben versucht den Mod downzuloaden.

Zweimal bei ca. 89% abgebrochen. Ich bekomme auch keine Fehlermeldung. Habe ansonsten schnelle Datenleitung.
Der Mod ist ansonsten nicht so groß, eventuell splitten?

Ich hab nochmal versucht die Konfiguration anzupassen. Könntest du nochmal versuchen, ob es bei dir geht? (hab es selbst mit einem auf 10 mbit beschränkten Zugang versucht und es lief ohne Probleme...

Hallo Peter, ich habe mir den Mod gezogen und etwas angespielt.

Nach dem entpacken kann man auch über den JSGME das Teil laden und es funktioniert.

Mit insgesamt 7 Missionen kann man auf die Schnelle die entscheidenden Themen des 2.WK anspielen.
Ist also etwas für den "Zwischendurchspieler" und hat seinen Reiz.

Die Karten sind gut gemischt, kleine wechseln sich mit großen ab. Gut!

Wer etwas genauer auf die Icon Auswahl schaut, der könnte evtl. etwas Anpassungsbedarf haben. Tut dem Spielspaß aber keinen Abbruch.

Spanien
Hier könnten auf den Flugzeugen/Panzern die Balkenkreuze gegen "handelsübliche" spanische Kennzeichen getauscht werden.

Westfeldzug
Hier fliegt etwas zu früh der Flettner Kolibri, den gab es eigentlich erst 42. Im Landesinneren gibt es ein Festungsgeschütz für die Küste, sehr fortschrittlich...

Balkan
Flakdrilling auf 251, hui ziemlich früh. War das nicht eher eine späte Entwicklung?

Ostfeldzug
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob die Verbündeten bei Angriff auf SU auch über Panzerkräfte verfügten. Die wenigen Pz 35, 38 standen eigentlich bei den deutschen
PzDiv unter Befehl. Aber vielleicht Nebensache, wichtiger ist die (Tschechische?) Kennzeichnung.

Ich habe hier mal als Ersatz die beiden Panzer mit slowakischen Kennzeichen, da diese ja von der Slowakei aus starten, eingefügt.
Wenn Du magst, dann kannst Du die bei Dir eintauschen.

1) How can be in 1941, a part of the guard ( want to show the elite of the red army make at the time of 1941, NKVD troops ! )

Ich versuche mal die diversen Fragen/Anmerkungen gemeinsam zu beantworten:

Die Einheiten dieses Mods habe ich aus meinem Minimod genommen (+ SS Bf109C und russische Partisanen).
Spanien hat dabei keinen Panzerzug (armored train).
Die russischen Elite Truppen nennt der Mod "Guards". Die erste Variant gibt es schon 1941. Es mag sein, dass es bessere Namen dafür gibt. Aber der Hersteller nennt es auch nicht anders.
"Faust bullets" (41 Panzerfaust) sind vielleicht nicht historisch; aber spieltechnisch macht es Sinn, Infanterie mit anti-Panzer Waffen anzubieten. (Ich selbst setze hauptsächlich Pioniere ein, aber will dem Spieler möglichst viel Auswahl bieten.)
Ich habe absichtlich möglichst viele verschiedene Truppenarten angeboten, damit man als Spieler eine große Auswahl hat. Zudem habe ich von möglichst viele Updates von Einheitentypen angeboten, z.B. 41 und 44 Panzerfaust.

Da ich meinen Fokus auf Spielbarkeit gelegt habe, kann es schon zu Verschiebungen des Startdatums kommen. Oft war der erste Prototyp Jahre vor dem Serieneinsatz verfügbar, so dass das Startdatum immer ein Kompromiss ist. Zudem habe ich Modelle eingebaut, für die es nie einen Serieneinsatz gab.
Einen Re-Design der Einheiten plane ich nicht; es spricht jedoch nichts dagegen, Einheitenbilder auszutauschen, falls ich noch eine weitere Version diese Mods baue.

Da der Spieler auch in Spanien für Deutschland antritt, passt das Balkenkreuz schon. Der Mod ist an dieser Stelle sowieso nicht wirklich historisch. Deutschland hat historisch Franko nur etwas unterstützt; in dem Mod erobert der deutsche Spieler mit etwas Unterstützung von Nationalspanien und Italien ganz Spanien.
Es ist Absicht, dass man nur deutsche Einheiten kaufen kann, nicht z.B. Spanier. Schließlich ist es eine deutsche Kampagne. Zudem würde es Probleme machen, solche Einheiten hochzurüsten.

Beuteeinheiten habe ich nur angeboten, um den Spieler zu bestimmten Orten zu lotsen. Die Beute soll das, was der Spieler normalerweise nutzt, ergänzen. Und es soll möglichst updatebar sein. Z.B. wird man sich normalerweise keine PAK in Polen kaufen. Wer die Beute nicht will, kann es entweder ganz ignorieren oder vor dem nächsten Szenario verkaufen. Ansonsten muss ich zugeben, dass eine PAK37 mit Pferdetransport keine besonders attraktive Beute ist.

Minsk gibt es in TK_Russland in den Hex-Feldern (23,38) und (23,39). Es sollte halbwegs an der richtigen Position sein. Ich hatte nur einen alten Atlas als Vorlage für das Map-Design.

Man könnte auch noch ein Szenario nach TK_OverLion bauen; aber das ist aktuell nicht geplant. Ursprünglich wollte ich es in Rußland enden lassen. Nachdem nach Seelöwe gefragt wurde, habe ich in V1.1 noch TK_OverLion hinzugefügt.

As it’s a German campaign the player can only buy German unit not e.g. Spanish one. Only German unit can be updated.

In Poland I wanted to offer a bonus unit the player normally doesn’t buy; it needs to be a German one. PAK37 was used at a lot of countries and normally a player doesn’t buy it. Therefore it’s plausible.

For balance reason I want to use a Norway tank although only a few Toldi tanks were historically used there.

I tested it myself with normal difficulty and found it was enough prestige for winning it. For historical reasons you have only few prestige in Russia. Historically Germans lost there mainly because the had not enough resources. E.g. Russia had ’41 more tanks then all countries in total (including western allies). And starting at about ‘42 Germany had not enough oil for the war...

If you find it to hard, feel free to lower the difficulty setting. You can even change it between the scenarios e.g. before you fight in Russia.
